Metafields in Shopify
Use your Shopify metafields as product filters with M:AI Search.
Currently, metafields are exclusively supported on Shopify's platform. In WooCommerce, the equivalent feature is product attributes. We aim to introduce this functionality in Q4 of 2025.

PRODUCT METAFIELDS
Metafields help you to customize the functionality and appearance of your Shopify store by letting you save specialized information that isn't usually captured in the Shopify admin. Metafields can be used internally in your Shopify admin and you can also choose to display them in your online store.
All product metafields from Shopify are now automatically imported to M:AI Search with name, description and type.

In this example, we have two metafields: Snowboard Length and Snowboard Binding Mount. One is configured as "Checkboxes," while the other is set as a "Button." You can also use the type "Color" for metafields.
