Besides being able to display very accurate product suggestions, the app now supports “Minimum purchase amount for free shipping” in both Shopify and WooCommerce.

Hide specific products
Sometimes you don’t want to display all products available in your store in the search. To hide products that belong to one, or several, collections; Go to Settings > Products and select the collections you want to hide:
B2B: Handling excl. tax + SKU has even higher priority
A new customer of ours sells to both B2C and B2B customers. They wanted to switch between excl. tax and incl. tax. We made it possible:
Another B2B customer wanted an exact hit on SKU to have the highest priority of all when searching.
It’s critical for them that a search made on the product’s exact SKU is always displayed as the FIRST result. We made it possible.

WCAG: European Accessibility Act (EAA) compliant
A new EU law called “European Accessibility Act” (EAA) has entered into force.
EAA means that a site should always be available to ALL people, regardless of disabilities such as really poor eye sight or hearing.
In Sweden alone around 15% of the entire population have some sort of disability (visual, hearing, movement, difficulty remembering) and 20% is elderly.
M:AI plattform is now EAA compliant! Supporting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) international standard, including WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1, and WCAG 2.2.

Use your Shopify metafields as product filters with M:AI Search.
Currently, metafields are exclusively supported on Shopify's platform. In WooCommerce, the equivalent feature is product attributes. We aim to introduce this functionality in Q4 of 2025.

PRODUCT METAFIELDS
Metafields help you to customize the functionality and appearance of your Shopify store by letting you save specialized information that isn't usually captured in the Shopify admin. Metafields can be used internally in your Shopify admin and you can also choose to display them in your online store.
All product metafields from Shopify are now automatically imported to M:AI Search with name, description and type.

COLORS ARE AUTOMATICALLY SET BY AI
To actually see colors as colors, and not only as the text “Green,” is important. It makes the site search more user-friendly, and everyone, regardless of language, can relate to a color.
Click it, and the filter displays all products using that color as a filter.
Since Shopify and WooCommerce don’t natively support colors, we’ve now added an AI to set colors as well, relieving you from manually having to set each color. Now the colors are set for you automatically, a real time saver!
P.S. You’re still able to manually edit each color individually to get the perfect color you’d like. Both automatic and customizable.
